This is 3rd highest opening day of 2015 behind Bajrangi Bhaaijaan and ABCD 2 but ahead of Gabbar is Back.

This is 2nd Highest ever opening  day number for Akshay Kumar behind Rowdy Rathore.

This is also 2nd highest opening day for Siddharth Malhotra behind Ek Villain which had grossed 16.5 Crore on its opening day.

Despite being a movie targeted at multiplexes Brothers has done well more in mass areas like Rajasthan , Bihar due to presence of Akshay Kumar.

Brothers has an advantage of one of biggest holidays of the year on 15th August and that means that it will have its biggest day on Day 2 rather than on day 1.

On 15th August last year Singham Returns had taken a huge opening but that was its day 1 while for Brothers it will be day 2.

Brothers is the most expensive movie for Akshay Kumar as the budget is more than both Baby and Gabbar is Back.

Akshay Kumar's current salary is estimated to be in the range of 25 Crores and is part of total budget.

Brothers Economics: (Profit and Loss Analysis):

Producers of Brothers are already safe and have made pre release profit by selling off satellite rights  and music for 42 Crores and Distribution Rights for 55 Crores.

Pre release Profit for Producers:   15 Crores

India and overseas rights for brothers have been sold to Fox Star at 55 Crores.

Fox Star  would need to recover this purely from Theatrical Business in india and overseas to have a recovery.
