Seems like Dons are the latest fad of Film stars. Everyone is trying to bring someone or the other's story into celluloid, and most of the real-life stories that are exciting them are of smugglers, kidnappers, dons and rowdy sheeters.
Recently director Ram Gopal Varma confirmed that he is making a movie on the real life of Bangalore based don Muthaliyaar. He met the former don in person and got inputs for his film. And then we have Rajnikanth coming up with a film under Pa Ranjith's direction. This film is said to be based on Chennai based don Kabaleeswaran's life. What makes our heroes and directors feel that dons are heroes?
For now, RGV is yet to start filming his don story, while Rajni's movie shoot is going on at brisk pace.
