Rajini's scary look from 'Kabali'

Superstar Rajinikanth has stunned his fans and movie lovers with his new look from his upcoming film 'Kabali', in which he is playing a mob boss. Rajini took a selfie of himself while in makeup. His weird attire looks like the Joker's getup from 'The Dark Knight' but the makers took care to make few changes.

This look of Rajini has put his fans in confusion now. Since he is playing a mob boss, why did he had this weird look? May be it is just for a sequence. Pa Ranjith has written and directing this film. Versatile actor Prakash Raj and Radhika Apte of Legend fame will be seen in supporting roles.

Movie is aimed to hit screens on 12th December, on the eve of Rajini's birthday.

'Robot 2' to beat 'Baahuabli' Records

Much before SS Rajamouli's Baahubali happened, south India's top director Shankar's 'Robot' used to have all the possible south Indian records. But Baahubali came and beat the records of Robot and left it way behind. Now, almost everyone is sure that it will be a longtime before any other film could touch Baahubali's records.

Beware fellows, as Shankar is sketching to make Robot 2 on mammoth budget and he has already proved on numerous occasions that he has larger than life vision. It is heard that following the success of Baahubali, Shankar has doubled his efforts on Rajinikanth's 'Robo 2'. Shankar has now decided to almost double the budget of Robo's sequel and make it as a spectacular film to break Baahubali's records.

This film will be formally launched on 12th December 12, on the eve of Rajinikanth's birthday.

Trisha okayed 'Nayaki' in 5 Minutes

Southern film actress Trisha Krishnan agreed to be part of her upcoming bilingual horror-comedy "Nayaki" after just five minutes of the film's narration, says director Govi.

"It took just five minutes of narration to convince Trisha to do the film. I wasn't sure when she said 'yes' the first time, so I even asked her again to confirm it. She felt the script had the potential to be a hit and even be liked by critics," Govi told.

The film's story is set in 1980s and Trisha will be seen as a 20-year-old.

For the first time in her career, Trisha plays a dual role.

Also starring Ganesh Venkatraman, Jayaprakash, Brahmanandam and Arya Rajesh, the film is simultaneously being shot in Tamil as "Nayagi".

Heroine Samantha is coming up with a Tamil film opposite Vikram and she's quite upbeat about it. The hottie of the South says that this film "10 Enradukulla" is quite close to her heart because she has done a never before kind of role in the movie. From romance to stunts, driving heavy vehicles to glamorous songs, she has done all.

Talking about the film, Samantha has actually narrated an incident that has really blown minds. During the shoot of a particular sequence in Nepal, there were race horses all around. Samantha found one white horse cute and she went near her. By that time, many people have already terrified her that the horse will kick her with a leg. Daringly, Sam has reached the horse, stroked the guy's hair on the head, and quickly tamed it. Without even knowing horse riding, she just sat on it and has done some stunts. That's so brave Samantha.

Not just horse riding, Samantha has driven a lorry and a jeep in the film, and has done the stunts herself. She got injured in the acts, but says that, "All these days I've done romance and comedy. Let me do some action too. Injuries, they are part and parcel of the game".

That Remake Film In 5 Languages?

Tamil film "Thani Oruvan" is making waves now. This Mohan Raja directorial featuring Jayam Ravi as hero and Arvind Swami as villain, got huge response at box office and as many as five tinsel towns are now competing to remake the film.

When it comes to Tollywood, Ram Charan laid his eyes on it and the director Mohan Raja himself confirmed that Charan has in principal agreed to do this film. In Hindi, Salman Khan's team gave assurance to Mohan Raj that the superstar will do it. In Kannada, Puneet Rajkumar is showing interest in remaking the film, while Ritesh Deshmukh may do Marathi version. Bengali version details are yet to be known. That's a great feat for Thani Oruvan.

Censor Too Serious On Telugu Heroine's Lip Locks

Dusky Telugu beauty Hasika first made her acting debut with Maruthi's Ee Rojullo in a small role. Another Maruthi film Bus Stop made her a well known actress in Tollywood and she also acted in a Varun Sandesh film. Destiny then took her to Kolkywood, where she gave successive hits and is now one of the most sought after actresses.

Currently, Hasika (Anandhi in Kollywood) is waiting for the release of her upcoming film, Trisha Illana Nayanthara. The film has young music composer GV Prakash Kumar as the hero. Recently, the censor board members were shocked seeing the film's bold take on young relationships and even the steamy lip locks performed by Anandhi and GV Prakash.

Refused to pass the film, the censor members asked the film's director Adhik to delete two kissing scenes. However, the young director, who was hell-bent on keeping the lip lock scenes, had to end up getting an A certificate. Apart from the smooching scenes, the censor members also insisted on 78 dialogue mutes, as the language was too explicit.

Trisha Illana Nayanthara is releasing on 17th September and we will have to wait and see as to how extent the innocent looking Telugu girl shed her inhibitions in Tamil.

Vijay 59 Story Is Inspired From Sathriyan!

According to the latest report, a source close to the team of Vijay 59 has come up with an interesting revelation which indicates that Vijayakanth's 1990 crime drama Sathriyan (Kshatriyan) is the inspiration behind the story of Ilayathalapathy's upcoming film, being directed by Atlee. 

Assuring that Atlee will redesign the story in his own style, like how he had helmed his first movie Raja Rani based on the story line of Mani Ratnam's Mouna Raagam, the source has confirmed the following, "yes, the story is inspired by Sathriyan and Vijay will be seen as a cop". 

Interestingly, the report from Times of India has also claimed that, according to the source, J Mahendran will indeed be playing the main villain of the movie which contradicts with some of the earlier reports that had clarified that the veteran director will be playing a positive role. 

But now it looks like the Mullum Malarum filmmaker will be seen as an unusual villain who uses his brain more than his brawn to bring down his enemy by playing a psychological game.
