Baahubali 1st Day: 100 Shows in Bhimavaram, 700 Shows in Hyderabad

In a town where majority of population belongs to the caste of Varma/Rajus, automatically there will be lavish spending on a film ticket where in hero belongs to their caste. An unprecedented phenomenon is witnessed in the royal town of Bhimavaram in West Godavari district with the spectacular release of ‘Bahubali’ on July 10th. 

Although, there are no benefit show reports from this Kapu and Raju dominated town, we are informed by our close sources that as good as 100 shows will be screened in Bhimavaram on day one. As if these many numbers of shows are insufficient, there is huge lobbying for tickets and special black ticket prices lying in market are varying from Rs.2000 to Rs.5000. Some say that, official ticket prices are kept at Rs.500 in some theaters.

Off the record, where will ‘Bahubali’ land in first day and first week records of Tollywood if the same craze continues throughout? Well, that’s the craze of a Telugu film. Feel proud that ‘Bahubali’ is a Telugu film from our own Telugu director.

A special focus will be kept on Nizam business for any movie because of this area’s huge expanse and extreme commercial productivity. Nizam covers entire Telangana State and when ‘Bahubali’ is arriving in nearly 400 locations just in Nizam territory, obviously top most records are to bit the dust.  Generally, Nizam is considered as strong fort for Mega heroes with all top records written on their name.

Arrival of ‘Bahubali’ is creating tremors in Telangana state because almost all the theaters in Hyderabad including multiplexes are going to be occupied with the magnum opus of SS Rajamouli. The film will be screened to record number of shows in multiplexes and there is still a big demand for tickets. As per reports, there will be as good as 700 shows of ‘Bahubali’ in Hyderabad alone on day one.  

This could accumulate to a total Nizam gross of nearly Rs.4 Crores and if benefit shows or special shows on July 9th are also added to the tally, collections may rise as high as Rs.5 Crores. That’s the euphoria surrounding this film.
