At his age and stature, most stars slow down on their films and hardly appear in one or two films a year. However, the Universal Star Kamal Haasan continues to churn out one film after the other. His latest release, Papanasam, is running and has been declared a superhit and is running successfully, withstanding Baahubali's storm in its second week.
However, Kamal is still haunted by his previous release Uttama Villain. The film, after being spent a huge distribution amount by popular Tamil director and producer Linguswamy, ended up as a colossal flop both in Tamil and Telugu. To forget this nightmare, Kamal had decided to act in a film to be produced by Linguswamy.
Apparently, Kamal took this decision to bail out Linguswamy, who is neck deep into financial crunch following Uttama Villain's debacle. Not stopping here, this film will be a comedy to be directed by senior director Singeetham Srivasarao. The film is expected to start once Kamal completes his upcoming film, Cheekati Rajyam.
