It was earlier reported that Shaji Kailas – Suresh Gopi duo; who earlier delivered M-Town hits like Thalasthanam, Ekalavyan, Mafia, FIR, Commissioner, Chinthamani Kola Case and many more is uniting yet again for a new movie titled Samsthanam (The State).

A pooja function has been held on 8th July 2015, as the shooting is about to start.
The film is said to be a political drama, strictly based on present Kerala politics, containing a crowd pulling element in it.
Shaji Kailas is trying his luck in Tamil industry also, with his last released movie En Vazhi Thani Vazhi and upcoming one, Vaigai Express.
