Latest reports suggests that, after a long gap, the two are joining yet again in silver screen.
The film, directing by Balachandra Menon, titled Njan Samvidhanam Cheyyum.
Menaka, in a recent interview, said that when Balachandra Menon called over the phone, she was expected to be a role to her daughter and actress Keerthy Suresh, but got surprised when it was known to be her chance.
Shankar and Menaka, who acted in Balachandra Menon films before, is joining together for his film for the first time.
